PDP Elected Officers To Join APC—- Emegha Hints


The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State, Hon Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha said all the elected government officials from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) would join the ruling party in no distance time.

Chief Emegha gave the hint while receiving a PDP federal house of representatives aspirant in the 2023 general elections, Dr Johnson Obinna Nwachukwu into the fold of APC in his Abakaliki office.

While reiterating that the party respects the principle of fair play, the APC boss poured encomium on the State Governor, Right Honourable (Dr) Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for running an all inclusive government which has improved the living standard of the people and as well improved the infrastructure.

He further noted that the Governor’s style of democratic leadership has not only given the people a huge sense of belonging but brought many who hitherto did not share in the ideology of political unity for a rapid and sustainable development which is palpable in the state currently.

Chief Emegha further emphasized that the party is open for all and no one should place any form of restriction that may prevent intending members from tolling the path of unity, peace and progress.

Earlier, the latest defector who has held several political positions in the State, Dr Johnson Obinna Nwachukwu opined that he was moved to denounce PDP in favour of the ruling APC because the governor has done exceptionally well within a short period of time.

The former state legislator, Dr Nwachukwu called on every right thinking Ebonyian to join APC in order to support the good works of Governor Nwifuru whom he described as the best leader so far produced in the State.

The Ishielu born politician, Dr Nwachukwu joined the ruling APC with thousands of his supporters.
